Educational Philosophy
Bochurim who “didn’t make the mainstream” in the past are capable of “making it”. Our faculty as a whole believes in each and every talmid. Through patience and constant reviewing, we equip our students with a meaningful understanding of chassidus and learning. The yeshiva staff pinpoints the strong qualities in each and every one of our students and then perfects it. Our facilities, wide ranging activities, and professional staff ensure that each individual receives what he needs, whether it is a one-on-one learning experience or a high school diploma. Our Rebbeim are specially trained to tackle any issue.
Faculty – Student Relationship
YNS boasts a low student to staff ratio so that each bochur receives maximum personal attention. In addition to this, the vast majority of the yeshiva faculty lives in close proximity to the yeshiva enabling the students and Rebbeim to forge close and long-lasting relationships even outside of the yeshiva confines.
Our Students
YNS deals with issues which the “mainstream yeshivas” evade or are not equipped to handle. The yeshiva staff immediately identifies the “real problems” without getting sidetracked by the “symptoms”. We do not assume that all boys have the same goals and needs, and we recognize and value each boy’s individual achievements. The Rosh HaYeshiva personally selects only these individuals whom he feels have real potential and are ready to grow.
